Tucked nearly a quarter mile off the road within the scenic Goose Lake property, a 2,000-square-foot pole building awaited demolition. While the scope included mass demolition, excavation, earthwork, and site restoration, the true challenge was working within a mature Illinois prairie filled with native grasses and wildflowers.

Balestrieri carefully planned site access, constructing a temporary route and installing erosion control measures to protect the surrounding environment. Once access was established, our crew successfully demolished the structure and restored the site, leaving the landscape ready for its next chapter.
