My name is Jess and I am a project manager here at Balestrieri. Growing up in the family business I initially stayed under my mom’s wing and took on administrative roles such as marketing, accounting and social media. I gained knowledge over the years while both going to school and working with the family business. I took a liking to the industry and decided to further my education at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee to stay close to home while getting a college degree. After I finished college, I started a career for myself in the boating industry and absolutely loved it. I managed multiple stores in Wisconsin and Illinois, while making friendships and working relationships/connections. I gained a ton of knowledge and working outside the family business really helped me grow as an individual before coming a Project Manager here at Balestrieri.

Coming back to the family business now means more than ever. Learning to fill the role of both my parents and my brother is a huge undertaking, but I am excited and I have the energy to do so. Being on the project side, I have a lot to learn, but also have the best role models to learn under. I am excited to grow with the company and an individual in the industry. Although it is a family business and some days can feel like there is no off switch with work and personal, I enjoy my time outside of the office. I enjoying being outside constantly doing anything from waterskiing, to hunting, to snowmobiling and spending time with friends. Currently both my dad and I are going for our private pilot’s license, which has been beyond fun and quite the experience. Looking forward to what new adventures are to come.
