596 STRONG – We Back Officer Blanch
Share
On August 1st, Deputy Wayne Blanchard, Balestrieri team member Beckett Runge’s father, was critically injured in the line of duty and needs our support. We want to do everything we can to help Wayne, Beckett, and their family on his recovery journey. On Saturday, October 9th, a large benefit for Officer Blanchard will be taking place to raise funds for medical and other associated costs for his recovery. There will be a motorcycle ride in the morning, 9 am registration at Farmers Inn Darien, ending at the Walworth County Fairgrounds in Elkhorn, WI around 2 pm. Fairgrounds open to family and friends not riding at 1 pm. Food, drinks, raffle, silent auction items and more are available for purchase. And local band Mt. Olive will perform from 5-9 pm! For more information regarding Officer Blanchard’s benefit and recovery process, visit 596 STRONG (we back Blanch) on Facebook. ttps://www.facebook. Auction and raffle items are welcome for donation through October 7th. For more information regarding donations, please email [email protected]we Update from Beckett: As of Friday, September 24th, Officer Blanchard has had a total of eighteen surgeries in two months. He has transitioned from the hospital to a rehabilitation facility, but goes back periodically for appointments and surgeries. He is overall in good spirits but still looking for continued support and positive energy. |
