Safety Program Overview

To protect the health and safety of its employees, Balestrieri has established a comprehensive safety and health program. We advise and encourage our employees to follow these policies, procedures and practices to protect employees from and to recognize job-related safety and health hazards.

Balestrieri employees are aware that as the size of a worksite or the complexity of hazardous operation increases, the need for written guidelines is necessary to ensure clear communications of policies and priorities. The program includes provisions for the systematic identification, evaluation, prevention and/or control of general workplace hazards, specific job hazards and potential hazards that may arise from unforeseeable conditions.

10-Hour OSHA Construction Industries Outreach Training Program

The 10-Hour Construction Industries Outreach Program covers a variety of construction safety and health hazards which a worker may encounter at a construction site. Training emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention. OSHA 10-Hour training is provided to all field employees.

Training Program

Balestrieri Environmental and Development, Inc. understands that training is an essential component of an effective safety program. Training helps identify the safety and health responsibilities for all employees at the site. The duration of the program is continuous - training occurs every day, every week and every month in order to stay current with changing industry standards.

Employee training programs have been designed to reassure all employees understand and are aware of the hazards to which they may be exposed and the proper methods of avoiding such  hazards. Training is conducted frequently as it relates to  the majority of items mentioned. Tool Box Talks are held on every job site. Training is conducted by a certified and/or professional who is licensed to perform such training. All training is documented.
