Project SummaryMilwaukee Bucks, Balestrieri, Abatement Project

In efforts to jump start the revitalization of Milwaukee, city officials and the Milwaukee Bucks elected to build a new multi-purpose arena in the downtown area. The arena will serve as the new home for the Milwaukee Bucks NBA Team, the Marquette Golden Eagles and also be used to support other sporting events and entertainment for the area.

Services Provided by Balestrieri

  • Asbestos Abatement
  • Universal Hazardous Waste

Faced with the challenge of beginning construction of the newly purposed facility and prior to the start of the 2017-18 season of the Milwaukee Bucks, Balestrieri assisted with asbestos abatement and universal hazardous waste removals of several buildings on the purposed new site of the facility prior to their demolition.

The 714,000 square foot structure is more than halfway completed. Balestrieri completed our contracted scope of work on time and within budget paving the way for various other trades to perform their portion of work all while keeping in schedule. To date the new Wisconsin Sporting and Entertainment Arena is scheduled to be completed and open prior to the start of the Milwaukee Bucks 2018-19 season.
