Balestrieri Environmental & Development recently celebrated the 75th anniversary of the Wisconsin Safety Council (WSC) at the 2017 Wisconsin Safety and Health Conference, held on April 10-12 in the Wisconsin Dells.
As part of the conference, the WSC recognized Wisconsin companies that consistently operate at a high level of health and safety. Balestrieri is thrilled to have been announced as a finalist for the Wisconsin Corporate Safety Award.
Due to a zero incident rate in 2016, as well as our ongoing commitment to advancing safety in Wisconsin, Balestrieri was also presented with a certificate for safety excellence and an outstanding achievement award for excellence in safety during 2016.
“We’re honored by this recognition, but even more proud of our team of dedicated employees who commit to safe practices and processes on a variety of client projects every day,” commented Steve Jandrowski, Balestrieri’s Safety Manager.
Steve continued, “At Balestrieri, we’re also celebrating an anniversary – our 25th year of service. During our 25 years, we have seen and experienced major shifts in the economy, political landscape, and construction industry, but we have always made safety a priority.”
Our company’s mission statement reflects this: “Our mission is to assist our clients in reducing their exposure to environmental liability and hazards.” This is why we follow strict USEPA and OSHA project requirements and hold mandatory safety trainings for all of our employees.
To be named a finalist for the Wisconsin Corporate Safety Award is an exciting achievement, and we’ll carry this positive momentum throughout the remainder of the year.
