Alex Balestrieri, our new Business Development Manager, began his career with Balestrieri during his junior year in high school. Alex participated in Elkhorn Area High School’s Architecture and Construction Youth Apprenticeship program. During this year he worked closely with company architect and engineer, Tony Balestrieri on design and architecture projects, architectural plan take-offs and jobsite visits. Alex also worked with and assisted members of the Balestrieri Project Team with various tasks and duties.
Alex’s new responsibilities as Business Development Manager are to develop and maintain existing client relationships by attending industry workshops, events and tradeshows. Alex will also be working collaboratively with members of our Project Team on estimating, scheduling and bid proposals. Alex holds his Wisconsin Asbestos supervisor license and Illinois Asbestos worker license.
While working at Balestrieri, Alex has also had many opportunities for hands on experience at jobsites. He hopes to continue the legacy as a third generation Balestrieri employee and would be honored to eventually take over the family business. Alex looks forward to helping grow the business and taking the company nationwide.
“Hard work pays off, and if you are not willing to give 110 percent you have already lost,” says Alex.
On a personal level Alex is a huge outdoor enthusiast. He enjoys waterfowl hunting, fly-fishing, snowmobiling, skydiving, barefoot waterskiing, flying and snowboarding. Alex short- and long-term goals include completing his pilot’s license, becoming certified in skydiving and wing-suiting and competing nationally in Snocross events.
