Mrs. Cervantes has been with Balestrieri Environmental & Development, Inc. since 2007. Nicole serves as the Accounting Manager for the firm and is responsible for coordination of all client invoicing functions, subcontractor management, accounts receivable and cash-flow functions, accounts payable functions, preparing weekly reports for Executive Management, time keeping, and reimbursables. She is also responsible for payroll, coordination with all project managers and general BE&D field support. Nicole's professional goal is to enjoy her career! "Work doesn't feel like work to me. I love being employed by a company with a strong mission and purpose. I feel good about what we accomplish on a daily basis and our concern for human health and the environment. I challenge myself to step outside of my comfort zone more often and keep learning each day. I always push myself to stay positive, be a role model and do my best. Long term I would love to go back to school and get my CPA."
Nicole's personal goals are to be as positive as possible, smile and laugh every day and to be the best mom, daughter and sister she can. "I strive to be honest, reliable and healthy. I plan to spend as much time with my children and have as many adventures as time allows." A goal she has this year is to take one photo every day for a year. Nicole enjoys playing with her kids outside, running, hiking, biking, camping, reading, travel and playing euchre.
Nicole also serves as the captain for Balestrieri's Cancer Assault Challenge and Reindeer Run teams. The Cancer Assault Challenge is a 5K Obstacle Run to Benefit the American Cancer Society. "We have a different experience every year at the CAC. You never know what to expect. The CAC committee has put so much time and effort into this event and I can’t wait to see what obstacles we will come across this year, whether it’s the crawling through thick mud or swimming through cold water. Let’s go Screaming For a Cure!"
Balestrieri employees and pets participated in our 3rd annual Reindeer Run for the City of Elkhorn on December 4, 2016. "A different theme every year and never a dull moment. Get bundled up and join us this year."
We're glad to have her on our team!
