Cody Conrad began as an intern with the Balestrieri team in 2015 when he was a high school junior. As an intern, he gained valuable experience working in the accounts payable, fleet, and warehouse departments.
In January 2017, Cody was promoted to Accounting Technician. His responsibilities have expanded to include our vendor COI program, assisting the project team with vendor sourcing, and assisting the Accounting Manager.
These work skills and experiences, along with the value-driven culture of Balestrieri, has served him well in starting his degree at UW-Whitewater as an accounting major. This past semester he received the honor of being on the Dean's List. Cody has definitely learned how to multi-task and stay calm under pressure in the fast-paced, constantly changing work environment at Balestrieri!
Cody’s goal is to stay focused and active while pursuing an undergraduate degree.
“I have had the wonderful opportunity to participate in the high school intern program and have learned and gained valuable experience working at Balestrieri. I’m excited to be able to put these skills to use as I further my education in college and my career as a CPA.”
His long-term plans include certification as a CPA.
Cody is the “big brother” to five younger sisters. They look up to him as a primary role model and mentor (another job he takes very seriously). In his spare time, Cody enjoys spending time with friends and family, and loves being outdoors—camping, hiking, fishing, or biking.
